 The tropical Villa with pool & garden around, for Family and Friends!

 This is a well maintained, fully furnished 3 bedroom 2 bath home ( 2 bathrooms are ensuite). Located in Sunset Crest, this home is minutes from the lovely West Coast beaches, the Holetown area, with shops, supermarket, banks, restaurants and many other amenities. The home is fully fenced. The large living room with Plantation shutters on the windows, which gives a cool tropical feel leads to a covered back patio, with a small pool, overlooking the lushly landscaped garden.

The space

This delightful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Villa, furnished with a Caribbean flair, is situated on Banyan Row, Sunset Crest, a central location in St. James on the famous west coast. Fully gated, it is a quiet residential location, and this light-filled property has shaded areas too - for relaxing and just dreaming. It is nestled in large tranquil tropical, gardens and yet it is only 5 minutes away from The Beach House, with large 50 ft pool, bar and restaurant, which is fully available to La Paillote Villa guests.

A high standard of furnishings and fittings - in fact all you could need for a perfect holiday is offered. The villa has a lovely patio area for relaxing and dining. A French door lead you onto the patio where you feel lovely breeze to keep you cool. The villa has everything to meet your needs - Direct TV,  Free Wi-Fi and free telephone for all local calls plus fully equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, cooker,  microwave, coffee maker, toaster and all necessary crockery and utensils to a high standard.

Guest access

Please report any damage/breakages immediately.
Smoking is permitted in some parts of the house: the patio and the garden of course. But not in the rooms.
Pets are not allowed.
My Guest shall feel at home in my property and enjoy all of its facilities, yet the guest is asked to respect the peaceful character of the place, to only use appliances for their intended use, and respect the tranquility of the neighborhood (i.e. no more loud music after 10 pm on the patio or in the garden)

Interaction with my guest

Interaction between me and guests is truly at the preference of the holiday maker themselves.

  • My staff and I are a phone call away. If there is anything you need, we can be reached 24 hours a day by phone or email.
  • For an additional charge we can also arrange to have a housekeeper clean and wash laundry. (We know how many towels get used).
  •  Groceries delivered directly to your holiday apartment - prior to you arriving. Simply tell us what you want, and we will shop for you.
  • Airport pick up and/or drop off can be arranged upon request. Tour guide, baby sitting and maid services can also be arranged at an additional cost.

  

Other things to note

We have lots of sandy beaches but please bring reef shoes if you are leaning to surf as there are occasional sea urchins in reefy spots Head lights for evening adventures and walks on the cliff Fishing rods if you are interested as there are fishing spots everywhere! Sun & Mosquito Protection Apply sunblock whenever you are exposed to the sun, especially when on the beach, at the pool or engaging in outdoor activities. As a tropical island Barbados does have some mosquitos, especially in the wetter summer months. Apply insect repellent to keep them away.stroll on the beachstroll on the beach        Illegal Activities The wearing of any form of camouflage is illegal in Barbados. Do not dress in, or carry, items made of camouflage material. Possession and distribution of illegal drugs/narcotics is strictly prohibited. If convicted of such an offence the crime is punishable by a fine or imprisonment or both. Beach Safety If uncertain about a swimming area, check with your hotel first as there may be currents. Stick to beaches with lifeguards on duty if you are not a strong swimmer. Some beaches are bordered by manchineel trees.  Avoid standing under the trees, or touching the fruit, as the white sap produced by the tree is a skin irritant that can cause blisters. Such trees are typically marked with red spray paint. Water Barbados' water supply is very safe and you can drink water directly from the tap. Bottled water is widely available if you prefer. Remember to drink plenty of water (or other fluids) to prevent dehydration.

No Smoking inside the house, please.

Save Energy- Kindly turn off fans and air condition units when not in room.

When leaving the beach, please use the outdoor taps to rinse sand from feet and clothing before entering the house.

Any sand brought into the house must be swept out before your departure.

The neighborhood

Sunny’s home is located in Suncrest Holetown,Saint James,Barbados.

Fabulous white sandy beaches are 5 minutes walking distance from the villa and wind along the coastline both north and south. As well as tourist attractions such as tropical gardens, safari jeep tours, horse riding, cruises, catamaran trips, water sports, golf, tennis, duty free shopping - the area has everything you could possibly want and more! Beach walk by Club HouseBeach walk by Club House With so many places of interest and excursions on offer it's hard to decide where to go and what to do! Car hire is simple and easy - to visit the rugged east coast, which is wild and beatuiful and very different to the tranquil west coast

  • Holetown is the central hub of activity with its bars, restaurants and renown 'First Street'. Banks, supermarket and the new Lime Grove development are right on the doorstep, hosting international fashion brands (for duty free shopping) and restaurants to tempt every taste.

Free access to The Beach House with 50ft pool and loungers plus bar/restaurant facilities, are available to the guests of La Paillote.

The neighbourhood is residential, quiet and peaceful.

For shopping Limegrove, Barbados' first mixed use lifestyle centre, is located in the heart of Holetown which is 5 minutes on the bus and is home to many of the world's leading retail brands. Unparalleled in Barbados and the Caribbean region, Limegrove incorporates a range of local and global retailers in a setting built around three distinctly different courtyards including boutiques, restaurants, delis, cafes, bars, gourmet foods, an art gallery, cinemas, a spa and salon, and a range of special event spaces. If you enjoy night life Holetown or Bridgetown are close by for late night entertainment and many other attractions.

Beautiful villa in a tropical surrounding for a ultimate relaxing Holiday

This villa is perfect for a home from home holiday. It is spacious, light and airy and beautifully furnished. A great place to stay and so well equipped. There are security grills which means that you can leave all of the windows open day and night. This gives a lovely airy feel to the place and gives nice through breezes. The air conditioning in the bedrooms is very efficient and the beds are very comfortable so we slept so well! The outdoor spaces are very private, except from the occasional visit from the friendly monkeys which is amazing. They visited us twice around breakfast time. The patio area is so comfortable and where we enjoyed seeing aside of monkeys, tiny lizards, large snails, and birds. The access that is provided to the Beach Club House is what makes this extra special. The Beach Club House is about a 10 minute walk away, but it is an easy walk. The access with the member card we received from Manfred provides you with the use of all facilities at The Beach House so you have sun beds and shade and free iced water. There is a bar to buy drinks, and a restaurant for lunch and dinner. Also showers and changing rooms with lockers should you need them. We felt quite happy leaving our belongings out when we went for lunch or in the sea. It is a nice place, solely for use by members. The best part is the beach! It is particularly quiet and the water is beautiful here! We only have positives to say about this villa and holiday. Thank you Stacy and Manfred! -JUST A REAL GREAT PLACE!!!-
